Zipper model 90cm
A true object of exception, this model of the Zipper is 90 cm long and has been made to a scale of 1/6th. A faithful replica of the famous "speed boat", this model is entirely handmade from noble materials: real wood and marine upholstery. All the fittings are made of chromed brass and are custom-made by jewelers. More than a thousand brass spikes are placed by hand on the hull. Finally, 10 coats of varnish are applied to obtain an excellent shine and depth of varnish.
The model is delivered in an adapted packaging allowing a secure transport.

History of this model:
ZIPPER exemplifies the sobriety and elegance of the competition runabouts of the 1920s and 1930s.
Its planing hull with angled sides is designed to increase its speed and improve its stability in tight turns.
One will notice the 2 small cockpits in tandem of this unusual racer. The rules of the races having opened the competition to the class 225 with only one person on board, the architect placed the cockpits one behind the other and the second one can be closed, for the competitions thanks to a canvas.
