Maquette Zipper 90cm
Cette maquette du Zipper d’une longueur de 90 cm a été réalisée à l’échelle 1/6ème.
Fidèle réplique du célèbre “speed boat”, cette maquette est entièrement réalisée entièrement à la main à partir de matériau noble : Bois véritable et sellerie marine. Toutes les pièces d’accastillage sont en laiton chromé réalisées sur mesure par par des bijoutiers. Plus de mille pointes laitons sont posées à la main sur la coque .
Enfin, 10 couches de vernis sont appliquées pour obtenir une excellente brillance et profondeur de vernis.

History of this model:
ZIPPER exemplifies the sobriety and elegance of the competition runabouts of the 1920s and 1930s.
Its planing hull with angled sides is designed to increase its speed and improve its stability in tight turns.
One will notice the 2 small cockpits in tandem of this unusual racer. The rules of the races having opened the competition to the class 225 with only one person on board, the architect placed the cockpits one behind the other and the second one can be closed, for the competitions thanks to a canvas.
