History of this model :
In 1955, Chris Craft was very impressed by the evolution of sports cars.
Customers were looking for originality. Chris Craft's response to this demand was the launch of the Chris Craft Cobra, a true sports car on water.
Using new manufacturing techniques such as fiberglass to create a "stunning rear spoiler", the Cobra was one of the best boats in its class produced at the time. A simple cockpit, long platform, raked windshield and many other sporty features still make the Cobra irresistible today.
Unfortunately, its high price put a damper on production, with only 105 units produced in 1 year alone. It came in 2 different sizes, 6.38 m long and 5.47 m.
Without doubt, the larger Cobra was the more successful.
