This model is entirely handmade from noble materials: mahogany for the wood and real marine saddlery. All the fittings are made of chromed brass, custom-made by jewelers. 10 coats of varnish are applied to obtain an excellent shine and depth of varnish.

As a replacement for the Riviera, CAPRIs used the same basic hull design with an extended bow, a two-piece curved plastic windshield, and similar hardware. 786 were built from 1955 to 1958.
